Crimes that involve physical harm to other people, whether it be sex abuse, physical injuries, and even murder, are the most serious cases in our criminal justice system. These cases are often proven using eye-witness accounts instead of more objective forms of evidence like bank records and videos. Being able to accurately assess the credibility of these witness and to aggressively cross-examine them is essential to favorable outcomes. Andy believes it is vital to test the quality of evidence in these cases early on, and, in certain cases where witnesses’ credibility is suspect, he has been able to convince law enforcement to terminate investigations and/or dismiss charges.Â
