Corporate leadership initiate investigations for the purpose of identifying those within the company who may be involved in inappropriate, unethical, and/or illegal conduct. Corporate investigations provide additional benefits that get overlooked: these investigations protect innocent employees and officers by setting forth findings that both explain who is at fault and who is not at fault. They also protect companies on the whole by demonstrating their commitment to identifying wrongdoing and addressing problems quickly. In the more than ten years Andy served as a federal prosecutor, Andy led extensive and complex investigations involving multi-national drug trafficking organizations, business entities, financial institutions, public officials, and others. In the process, he developed strong relationships with federal agents who were employed by the FBI, the DEA, the Secret Service, the IRS, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Homeland Security Investigations and other federal and state law enforcement entities. He has maintained these relationships, and Andy has a cadre of former federal agents with whom he works effectively and expeditiously to identify wrongdoing in the corporate context and in other contexts.
